News from the University of Portsmouth Netball Club

We went into the game heads held high after a very convincing win of 41-28. After the first quarter and some great turnovers thanks to our great defence we were 3 goals up. Into the second quarter we all went in fighting for it!

So, the day started at 6.30am for Captain Froud thanks to Becca ‘early bird’ Saunders texting to see if varsity was still on…obviously due to the standard ‘Great’ British weather.

On Thursday 22nd of April, the UPNC held their annual event known as the Question of Sport night! At half 7 we had a really good turnout in The Waterhole of 10 teams! The quiz consisted of some really tricky, and funny questions.

On Wednesday the 17th of February 2010 at 1pm Portsmouth Netball 5th took on Brighton 4ths at Langstone with the sun shining and the temperature not too cold it was perfect Netball conditions. After both teams had warmed up and the umpires were in position we were ready to start.
